Description: Client was injured in an auto accident. After settling with the other driver for their policy limits, Client made an Underinsured Motorist Claim with her own insurance policy. This claim was denied due to client’s insurance agents having failed to purchase the correct level of coverage, and having misrepresented this fact at the time the policy was purchased. Client sued her State Farm agent for misrepresentation and negligence in failing to secure the proper coverage. This case settled.
